Sat Kriya meditation at golden sunset

Every symbol
tells a story

Scroll to discover

The mark of the Life Beyond Addiction Foundation was not designed — it was discovered.

Each element drawn from traditions thousands of years old. Each one chosen to carry a single truth about the human capacity for recovery.

Earth from space — wholeness, protection, return
01
The Circle

Universal

Wholeness.Protection.Return.

The outer circle was not chosen for aesthetics. It was chosen for truth. In every tradition that has ever tried to understand the human condition — indigenous ceremony, Jungian psychology, Buddhist mandalas, Sufi geometry — the circle means the same thing: what is held together cannot fall apart. Recovery is cyclical. You return to yourself, again and again, at deeper levels each time.

You are already whole.

A single flame burning in absolute darkness

The Flame

Hinduism · Christianity · Judaism · Buddhism · Zoroastrianism

The soulcannot beextinguished.

Across five thousand years and six continents, humans have used one symbol above all others to speak of what is eternal in a person: fire. Not because fire is comfortable — but because fire transforms. What you have been through did not destroy you. It changed you. The flame in our mark is not decorative. It is a declaration.

You survived. That is everything.

The Water Drop

Life · Purity · Resilience

The same shape.Two meanings.One truth.

The water drop occupies the exact same visual space as the flame. Look closely: the same outline holds both fire and water. This is not coincidence — it is the oldest spiritual insight: opposites are not opposed. They are the same mystery seen from different angles. Water yields. Water finds its way through stone. A single drop, falling, changes everything it touches.

You are one drop. You are also the ocean.

A radiant point of pure light in absolute darkness

The Bindu

Hindu · Tantric tradition

Before addiction.Through addiction.After addiction.

From Sanskrit: the point. In Hindu and Tantric cosmology, the Bindu is the centre of all centres — the singularity from which the universe unfolds. It is the self before its stories. Before its wounds. Before the name it was given and the names it gave itself. The Bindu in our symbol sits inside the flame, inside the drop, at the geometric heart of everything. That is where you are. That is what addiction cannot reach.

This is the part of you that remained.

Each element. One mark.

The Circle

Wholeness. Community. Return.

The Flame

Transformation. The indestructible soul.

The Water Drop

Life. Purity. Resilience.

The Bindu

Pure consciousness. The unchanging self.

Each layer a truth. Together, a declaration.

A person standing in a shaft of golden light

The overarching message

Every person carries an inner light that addiction cannot destroy.

This is not a hope. It is not a mission statement. It is what we have witnessed, again and again, in the lives of the people who find their way to us. The mark you see carries this truth in every curve.
